A Visit With The Campbell Clan..

This weekend we took a road trip to Bristol for Ella's birthday party. After a not so pleasant 2 hour trip (keeping her awake from her morning nap so she could sleep in the car = bad idea), Audrey got to meet her family. There was WONDERFUL food and games for the kids. Can't wait to see ya'll again!

Alex finally breaks the pinata!

Pin the tail on the donkey.
Cousin Bentley and Ashley.
Audrey enjoyed loving her Great Grandpa Campbell.

And of course, she loves her Grammie!!

We Play Dress Up..

In attempt to put Audrey in every outfit in her closet, I am trying to put her in a new outfit everyday. Yes, she might be wearing a dress on the day we do nothing but lounge around the house, but how else am I going to get use of her massive wardrobe? Who would have ever thought I would be playing dress up with my two month old?
This is a common look for Audrey now.

Giving Daddy love. :)

We're Back!

After a week of visiting Grammy and John's trip, we are back to our little shanty. It took us FOREVER to unload and unpack. I can't believe how much stuff you have to take when you have a baby! Not to mention we had the dog and cat with us too. I am pretty sure that our car may have been dragging the ground in the back. Anyway...I know you all are anxiously awaiting new pictures of Audrey. She is growing so fast!

Tired of playing dress up with Mommy!

Giving Daddy a big grin.

Thanks Uncle Will and Aunt Emily for our carrier
.
Funny faces!

Not happy about kisses from Mommy.

She looks like such a big girl in her Bumbo!

Crocodile Tears..

I can't believe my little girl is two months old! Oh my, she will be talking back before I know it! She went for her two month check-up on Tuesday and the Dr. said she is a healthy little girl. She weighed 9 lbs 3 oz. which is a wonderful weight gain since our last visit. While we were there, we had to get the dreaded two month shots. I was very worried how she would handle the shots, and how I would handle her getting them. Lets just say that I have never been so heartbroken in my entire life! Her crocodile tears send my motherly instincts into overdrive and I wanted to yank her off the table and run away! We both survived the visit, but I think we will both be dreading the next round of shots! Thank you Grammy for coming with us and supporting us both! :)

Audrey is growing so fast that I am afraid I will miss something if I turn away. This week she has become little Miss Independent. This makes me excited but breaks my heart at the same time. She plays contently by herself and doesn't need her Momma as much anymore, but she will always be a Momma's girl.

John has our camera with him this week, so I will post pictures next week. I know you all are having Audrey withdraws... :)

Life is Good..

Audrey and I have been having John withdraws since Saturday. He flew out of Roanoke early Sat. morning with Daddy and a few others from church. We have only talked to them briefly but they seem to be enjoying themselves and have lead a few people to the Lord. What a wonderful experience this has to be for them! I am so excited to hear all of the stories and will be sure to share them with you. Please continue to pray for them and their team. Pray that God will use them for his will and that the people of Guatemala will have open ears and hearts.

Say Hi!

Audrey was all smiles this morning, and her proud Momma had to share it.
