You're so funny Poppaw!

Last week, John took a trip to Wyoming with Will and his Dad.  They spent the week backpacking, camping, and fishing in the Tetons. Yeah, I was a little jealous.  Since he was away, and I need another set of Audrey holding arms, Audrey and I went to spend the week with Grammy and Poppaw.  They were great with helping carry Audrey around, as she is in constant need of a playmate and I need a break every now and then!  While we were there, we made a trip to West Virginia to the Cheese-n-more store.  I am in love with this little place! It is owned by a Quaker family, and they sell every cooking spice you could imagine and more.  The prices are fairly reasonable and the carry PUMPKIN stuff.  If you know me at all, you know that as soon as the weather shows the slightest sign of fall, I am obsessed with anything pumpkin flavored!  I picked up a jar of pumpkin butter and pumpkin pancake mix.  YUM!  Later we found out that we completely missed the bread shop, but it gives us an excuse to go back.  I'm thinking maybe a Christmas visit?  Yep, you all know what you're getting for Christmas this year!

Five Months..

Almost 1/2 a year old!  Amazing.. We are blessed to have such a wonderful little girl!  She is learning so much so fast!  She has really started to take everything in these last few weeks. She wants to touch/pull everything, including the cats hair. Oops! She is so interested in everything, which makes nap time a disaster.  Why sleep when there is SOOO much going on? She has also started making the M and B sounds and we love to hear her wake in the morning practicing them (as long as it is a reasonable hour).  LOVE this little girl! :)

Over The Hills and Through The Woods....

We had a great visit with Robert and Brenda this weekend. The weather was to nice to spend the day indoors, so decided to get outside and enjoy it.  We took a picnic lunch and drove/hiked to our favorite secluded spot  to spend the afternoon.  Thanks Maw and Paw for the nice weekend.

Bentley Turns One!

Last weekend we made a trip to Bristol to celebrate our cousin Bentley's first birthday.  Can't believe that he is already one!  Why can't they stay little forever?

Sleep Monster...

This week has been very trying with our little one!  She is having a very hard time with naps which leaves a overly tired, grumpy, sleep monster.  Today I decided that for sanity purposes, she MUST nap!  Finally, after 4 hours of crying, eating, fussing, eating again, she is asleep. PRAISE THE LORD, I CAN FINALLY SHOWER!!  Basically, we just spent the whole day battling over nap time because we are both so incredibly stubborn. Ah, like Mother, like daughter.  Stubborn as she may be, she is still precious.  Oh, and I won.  :)
