Happy Halloween!!

Audrey "participated" in her first pumpkin carving this weekend.

First, she played with the pumpkin goo...She was a bit hesitant at first, but that didn't last long.

She sampled it and decided that it was better to play with.

 Then, she wore it....literally.

Happy Halloween!!

Mon Petit Chou Chou...

Audrey had her six month check up and shots on Friday, a traumatic experience for all of us.  The little girl weighs 12.6 lbs, which puts her in the 3rd percentile for her age.  Her height was 24 1/2, putting her in the 5th percentile. Yup, she is a munchkin, but I still believe she is going to hit a growth spurt!  Even if she doesn't, she is going to be an awesome volleyball setter/ basketball point-guard one day.   :)

Did I mention that our girl is talking?? She has daily conversations with her feet, animals, toys, socks, etc., and especially loves to chatter when she is supposed to be napping....

Makes you smile, doesn't it?

Scrunch It...

This little girl is always doing something to make me smile.  The past few weeks she has started to do the "nose scrunch" face and blow air out of her nose.  It's kind of hard to explain, but it cracks me up!  I have been trying to get a picture of it forever, but never have my camera ready when she starts her "scrunching".  I finally caught it on camera and decided to share.  Hope it keeps you laughing too! :)

Happy 1/2 Birthday..

I can't deny that I am a little sad to be writing this post.  I honestly think that we have miscalculated her age at some point, because it just isn't possible that my girl is 6 months old!  Not cool!  This month has been full of new things.  Last week she learned how to sit and can last 2 or 3 minutes before she gets a little wobbly and tumbles over.  She is mobile!  No she isn't crawling, but she enjoys scooting across the room on her back by pushing off the floor and doing back arches.  Interesting to say the least.  Sometimes I find her squished up in the corner of her crib because she has "head scooted" herself into the corner.  She also started a few solid foods, with her first "meal" being sweet potatoes.  We aren't sold on solids yet, but we are getting there.  If I could only keep her little....

Chubby cheek smile! :)

Could she be any more sweet?

Happy Fall Y'all!

I am loving this nice cool (not cold) weather.  It has made it a bit easier for us to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors, which Audrey LOVES!  The beautiful fall colors inspired me for an impromptu photo shoot with our favorite little butter bean.  We loaded baby, dog, lunch, and pumpkins and headed out to the property in hopes of some photo opportunities of some fall foliage.  Unfortunately the road to the top of the property is a little rough so we had to park at the bottom and cart all of our "photo shoot" items to the top.  Did I mention I brought pumpkins along?  Can you believe that my husband didn't utter a complaint as he toted pumpkins up a hill?  Me either.  :) The little bean was over the photo shoot in about 10 minutes, so we only has a few good shots, with the rest being angry, I am not happy with you faces.  Imagine that....

The most beautiful little pumpkin ever!

Leaves are tasty!

Yes, she had wardrobe changes.  This girl is high maintenance.

Love these chubby cheeks!! :)

Taking a break in between shots.  It is hard being so cute!

Lucy is always ready for a photo shoot.

THE END!
