Could be a country song, right? Nope, just a short summary of our weekend. Friday, Annie, Audrey, and I made a trip to Target. We were walking through the seasonal isle, which was 50% off, when they started switching out the sale signs to 75% off. Needless to say, we went a little crazy. I had to restrain myself from buying a few items just because they were 75% off. I mean, who needs four coolers? But we did get some great buys. Sometimes I think I could be an extreme couponer because I can't resist a good bargain. Ask John about this, he would agree. :)
Saturday, we had some friends over to sample our homemade peach ice cream from our brand new ice cream maker (which I bought from Target for 75% off). It was amazing, but I am pretty sure the ingredients cost more than buying an actual container of ice cream. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
Sunday, we woke up extremely late, thank you Audrey, but decided we could still make it to church. I am pretty sure a few people thought we were visitors because we have only made it to our own church once in the past three months, and if you read my older post you know how that turned out! This time Audrey did fantastic! She didn't sleep like we were hoping, but sat contently with her Daddy. We snapped a few family photos to remember the day.
Pretty little girl in her new dress.
We didn't have enough hands for Oliver, or he would have been in the picture too.
Who is rocking who to sleep? (Sorry John, I couldn't resist.)
