What's All That White Stuff?

We FINALLY had our first good snow this winter.  I was eagerly awaiting the first few flakes to fall, just to see how Audrey would react.  We ended up with about 6 inches, which mostly melted the next day.  Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.  Audrey had mixed feelings about the snow, and was fine as long as she wasn't touching it, but had a melt down when she put her hand in the "white stuff".   Little girl does NOT like to be cold!

I love cherish my new camera!

Audrey and I made it out in the snow the next day.  She rode in the tube while I pulled her around the yard.

 Cute little red nose.

I may have gone a little overboard with keeping her warm.  She was so bundled, she couldn't sit up.  She also despised her gloves and saw no point in keeping them on.

Ten Months!

Little Miss Audrey turns ten months old today! Crazy! It is funny to compare pictures each month and notice the little changes.  She has developed her own personality, temper and all!  We have experienced a few temper tantrums this month, which makes me wonder what the "terrible two's" will be like...hum.  She is extremely curious about everything!!  There aren't' any places off limits to this little girl, and she cries when you tell her no....oh my.  Her new fascination this month is lint/ unidentifiable, microscopic, things that she can pick off the floor and eat.  Needless to say, I have to keep my floors pretty clean, or Audrey will find it and eat it.  We are still waiting for the "lint poop" that I am convinced will happen soon.  Her favorite word is still Momma, which she LOVES to repeatedly say, until I get her out of the crib (cute most of the time, excluding the nap boycott days), and John is still waiting for Dada (and it's not for his lack of trying).

Have I told you that Audrey loves to read?

...and sing and dance...

Chasin' Rainbows...

Sometimes I just need a reminder, a little something to jolt me back into the realization of the important things.  This morning, as I was feeding Audrey, I was having a " I need spontaneity in my life" kinda morning.  I love staying home with Audrey, but I have those days where I kinda dread the predictable routine.  As I was thinking this, I peered over Audrey's beautiful little face and saw the most perfect rainbow.  I grabbed my camera, and rushed outside in my PJ's (yes, I left Audrey strapped in her highchair) to snap a picture.  Was this God telling me to focus on the big picture?  I think so.  I also know that there were hundreds of other people who saw this as they were driving to work.  Maybe they needed a little reminder too?  Thank you God, for those subtle reminders, that help us put things into perspective and remind us of Your grace and mercy.
