River 2012

Have you noticed that I haven't posted at ALL this month?  That's because I stayed at the River House for two whole weeks!  Relaxing?  Mainly when Audrey was napping. :)  We left our house the day after the HUGE storm, which was a blessing because we had a storm the next day and lost power for 4 days!
The first week we were there, we spent the week with the Dennis family.  To sum up the week, we played, we ate, we relaxed and enjoyed playing catching up.  I was so excited to FINALLY meet baby Elizabeth and even got to snuggle with her (when everyone else wasn't stealing her).
The second week I was there with my girls (Charley-Gail, Elizabeth and her husband Charley) for our annual get together.  Audrey was COMPLETELY spoiled by the end of that week, since they all consider her their "baby" too.  Oh, their time will come...

Carson and Lily made an early morning trip to the dock to see if they could find some crabs....
Uncle Richard supervised.

Can you tell they are cousins?  How about that squatting pose?
Paw got some Elizabeth snuggle time...
We celebrated Lily's 3rd birthday while we were at the River.  Growing up!

Thanks for being a good sport, Elizabeth!!

Shaking it to the dobro...
Love that smile!
Beautiful baby Elizabeth.
:)
Paw made a slide for the kids and Audrey decided she wanted to go down the slide like the big kids.  Brace yourself for the splash, Audrey!

Your missing all of the fun, Elizabeth!
Sweet girl.
Cousins :)  I see future trouble makers. How about you?
Audrey was setting a good example for Elizabeth.
No worries, Lucy came too.
"Auntie" Elizabeth played lifeguard for Audrey.

15 months...

Some new things that Audrey learned this month:

*how to play hide and seek (I hide and yell her name, and she yells her name back at me)
*shake her head no (not my favorite accomplishment)
*a horse says, "nay" (in the sweetest little voice)
*how to climb in chairs
*bags are AMAZING
*hold your hand and lead you somewhere (especially when she wants something)
* the art of snake handling (haha!)
