Today marks week 16! It is going by so fast. It is absolutely crazy to think that in 6 months we will have a little person in our house! Although we are super excited, sometimes the thought can be slightly overwhelming and surreal. Denise sent us a package full of beautiful baby clothes in the mail and as I pulled them out of the box Ikept thinking,
"I am going to have something that fits in these clothes! I am going to be responsible for this tiny little person!" Then there are the times when I am completely confident about the situation.We have been documenting the weekly belly growth and have seen a HUGE change in the past few weeks. Seems the baby has tripled in size. I believe this is true because I now wear dresses instead of pants since dresses don't require buttoning.Our next doctors visit is November 2nd. We are secretly hoping that we will find out the gender of the baby. I am trying not to get my hopes up because I know the chances are slim (but they still exist). Only time will tell!!
Oh, Jessica and John, I am SOOO excited! Your belly is growing and looking so cute! And we're so happy you started a blog! Peter and Lily can't wait to have a little Dennis cousin and "hold the bebe". We can't wait to meet and love on him or her. Happy, happy!
ReplyDeleteThe Garrisons are all excited about what's in the "oven" too!!!! This baby is lucky to have you two for mommie and daddy AND to have the wonderful extended family he/she will have. I can't wait to Aunt Bettie the Great to another little one. We love all three of you.
