Our garden blew up with cucumbers this year!! I ate all I could possibly eat and decided I would try to can the rest and make pickles. Two hours and a destroyed kitchen later, I canned 7 cans of pickles. I have to wait 3 weeks to try them so I don't really know if it was worth all the effort. We joked about putting warning labels on the just in case. They would read: Warning, if paralysis occurs, please seek medical attention immediately. So, who wants a batch?
I made some of the refridgerator pickles that are ready in about a week and they are pretty darn good. If i can do that, I imagine yours are going to be great. Nicely done...
