If you haven't discovered Pinterest yet, then you are missing out. Without it, Audrey would not have had a birthday party. Pinterest is inspiring, but makes you feel like an underachiever at the same time. So basically I HAD to have a birthday party. I mean, it was her first one ever. Pretty important, don't you think? We had a wonderful time, and Audrey was completely FULL of herself. Everything turned out beautifully, and we were so glad that most of the family was able to join us. For those who didn't get to come, here are a few pictures of what you missed out on!
Cupcakes made by Auntie Val. They tasted as good as they looked!! Thank you, Val!
Tulips that my wonderful husband planted during the fall, that just happened to match the color scheme.
Audrey's own special birthday cake.
Center pieces for the tables.
Before...a little hesitant...
After...not so much.. Yes, it was even in her hair.
Willing to share a little with Poppaw.
Audrey wasn't the only one who enjoyed the cupcakes. :)
Audrey's birthday gift from Maw and Paw was a huge hit!
Posing with the Great-Grandparents. (Take number 5, because Poppaw Campbell, not Audrey, kept looking away.)
It was an awesome party... you went all out! Can you plan and throw my kids parties this summer? ;) We loved seeing you all. Can't wait til its a little longer this summer so we can really catch up. Hugs to you all!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time! I hate that we missed it. Studies show that 19 months is a great age gap for siblings. Hope to see y'all soon!
