Father's Day Fun

For Father's Day this year, we decided to get crafty and finger paint John a beautiful picture.  I wanted the paint to be Audrey safe, so we mixed up a batch of edible finger paints made from food coloring and corn starch. We went outside so we could get extra messy and I am ever so grateful we did!  Audrey was much more interested in the breakable bowls that she was getting to play with than the actual painting process.  Thankfully Maw was here to help!!  One broken bowl later, we had three pictures painted, the deck, Maw's paints, Audrey's clothes, and Lucy.  Whew!  Maybe next year we will use crayons instead...

 We gave Daddy his present a day early because we just couldn't wait!!
